An exciting idea many years in the making reached fruition with the official opening of the Springvale full moon night market. Modelled on the well-known night markets that are familiar to many Australians visiting parts of Asia, the Springvale night market reinforces Springvale’s reputation as Victoria’s Asian heart.
Street stalls, hawker food, music and other entertainment make for a great Saturday night. Held monthly the market will continue to grow and attract visitors to our area from afar.
I was thrilled to join Mayor, Councillor Roz Blades, Hong Lim MP Member for Clayton, Councillor Youhorn Chea and the Springvale Asian Business Association and other dignitaries.
